How can we help?

Start with a topic or search the questions we're asked most. If that doesn't settle it, open a ticket and a person will pick it up.

Searching and saving

Searching, favoriting and comparing work without an account. Saving a search so we can notify you needs one.

Your account

Display name and language are yours to change. For anything else — including deletion or a copy of your data — open a ticket below.

Working with an advisor

You get an advisor only when you ask for one. You keep the same advisor across every project you're considering — they're not tied to one development.

Viewings and buying

Once you reserve, the roadmap tracks each phase — legal checks, contract milestones, completion — and shows who's responsible for what's outstanding.

For developers

Listing a project carries no fee; commission is due only on a completed sale. Open a ticket to start the conversation, or sign in if you already have a portal account.

Privacy and data

Access, correction and deletion requests are handled by our team — open a ticket and say what you need.

  • Is BuildMatch free to use?

Yes. Browsing, favoriting, comparing, and saving searches are always free. If you ask for an advisor, that's free too — BuildMatch is paid a commission by the developer only when your purchase actually completes, never by you.

  • Who is my advisor working for — me or the developer?

You. Your advisor is independent and never assigned by a developer. They're only ever paid when your specific purchase completes, so their only incentive is to see your purchase through to a successful, well-informed outcome.

  • Can I browse without an advisor?

Yes — nothing about BuildMatch requires you to have an advisor. Self-service browsing, favorites, comparisons, and saved searches never assign you one. You can ask for an advisor any time, from any project page.

  • How do I know a review is real?

Every published review is tied to a completed purchase through BuildMatch — we verify that before it's even eligible for moderation, and no review reaches the public review pages without a human moderator approving it first.

  • What happens after I reserve a unit?

Your reservation moves through contracted and completed milestones as your purchase progresses — you can track its status any time from your dashboard, and your advisor is notified at each step.

  • How do referrals work?

Every buyer has their own referral link, available from your dashboard. Anyone who signs up through it is automatically credited to you — no code to type in, no manual tracking.

  • How do I search for projects?

Start typing a town, region or project name in the search box, then narrow the results with the filters — price, bedrooms, property type, completion status and amenities. Everything is searchable without an account. Search understands names and places; it doesn't yet take a written description of what you're after, so use the filters for that.

  • How do favorites and comparisons work?

The heart icon on any project saves it to your favorites, and the compare control puts projects side by side on one screen. Both work before you create an account — favorites saved that way live in your browser and move into your account when you sign up. Neither assigns you an advisor.

  • What does a saved search do?

It remembers a set of filters under a name you choose, so you can re-run it in one click, and it lets us notify you when a new project matches it. Saving a search needs an account, because we need somewhere to send the notification.

  • Do I need an account to use BuildMatch?

No. Searching, filtering, favoriting and comparing all work without one. You need an account to save a search, upload documents, open a support ticket, or work with an advisor — anything where we have to remember something for you or send you something.

  • How do I get an advisor, and what do they do?

You ask — from any project page, or by contacting support. You are never assigned one automatically. Your advisor helps you compare projects across the whole platform, gets answers from developers, arranges viewings and guides you through reservation and completion. You keep the same advisor throughout rather than dealing with a different sales office per project.

  • Can I ask my advisor about more than one project?

Yes — that's the point of them. Your advisor isn't attached to a development, so they can compare several projects with you, including ones you haven't found yet. You have one advisor at a time, and they stay with you across everything you're considering.

  • How do viewings work?

Viewings are arranged through your advisor, who confirms availability and unit details with the developer before you travel and normally plans several projects into one trip. You can see what's scheduled under Viewings in your dashboard.

  • What is the purchase roadmap?

It's the step-by-step map of your purchase, from orientation through reservation, legal checks, contract milestones and completion to handover. Each step shows its status and who's responsible for it — you, your advisor, the developer or a third party — so you can always see what's outstanding and who's holding it. You'll find it under Purchase status in your dashboard.

  • What can a developer see about me?

Nothing, while you're browsing or being advised. Developers cannot see who has viewed, favorited or asked about their project. Your name and contact details become visible to a developer only once a reservation links you to one of their specific units — and they never see your documents, your messages with your advisor, or your roadmap.

  • I'm a developer — how do I list a project?

Open a support ticket and we'll take it from there. Listing carries no fee; BuildMatch is paid a commission only when a sale completes and the agreed conditions are met. If your company already has a portal account, sign in and add the project there.

  • I can't sign in — what should I do?

Use the "forgot password" link on the sign-in screen to set a new password. If the reset email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder first, then open a support ticket and describe what happens — including any error message — and we'll look into it.

  • How do I get a copy of my data, or delete my account?

Open a support ticket and tell us what you need. Access, correction and deletion requests are handled by our team at the moment — there's no self-service button for it yet. You can change your display name and language yourself in account settings. Our privacy statement explains what we hold and why.

Still need help?

Tickets are answered by the BuildMatch team, not by a developer's sales office. If your question is about a specific project, mention its name and we'll get the answer from the developer for you.

Sign in to open a support ticket and track its status. Creating an account takes a moment and also lets you save searches and favorites.
